Utsav is back in its 2008 avatar, and this time it is going to blow your mind! Come and join the Indian Students Association at Columbia (ISAC) in our annual celebration of food, music, fashion and fun. Send your taste-buds to heaven with a superb three-course Indian dinner. Hum along with NY Masti, the hottest new acappella group in town. Heights Collective will enthrall you with their fabulous fusion music. And of course ... be swept off your feet by the dazzling array of Indian clothes in our fashion show, a showcase of India’s textiles and craftsmanship. Oh…and don’t miss our dazzling jewelry sale and our special fashion raffle. Pick up some gorgeous ethnic jewelry at the lowest prices!

ISAC will be donating the profits from UTSAV to Aghor Guru Peeth, a social organization that is building a secondary school in Banura village, Chattisgarh. We personally know people working with this group so we can assure you that the donations will be going directly to the people who need it. We are also collaborating with a team in Seattle to hold seminars across colleges in India. The goal is to discourage students from taking drastic actions due to examination related disappointments by giving examples of different paths to success and introducing them to the range of alternate career paths. The social group VIBHA will also be having a stall at the event. They are opening up a New York chapter so make sure you visit their stall.
